As many of you already know, the new Madbyte token we have created is called MADX. Swapping from coin to token will begin later this month. MADX is an ERC20 token that runs on the ETH blockchain. This allows you to store your MADX in a large variety of token (ETH based) wallets that can be run on your mobile, tablet, desktop and hardware wallets. For instance, Ledger Nano is a hardware wallet that will store your tokens securely. MetaMask wallet on your browser is a great way to have easy access when trading on a DEX like mcafeedex.com.
MADX is currently listed on two exchanges, tradecoinx.ca and mcafeedex.com. Tradecoinx has two pairings, MADX/BTC and also MADX/MBYT. The MBYT pairing gives you an alternative way to swap for an earlier and longer time period. Though this pairing will have a limited amount available at the 1:1 ratio.
Mcafeedex.com is a decentralized exchange that has four pairings with MADX: ETH, WBTC (wrapped BTC), DIA & TUSD (USD stablecoin). This exchange can be used directly in connection with the MetaMask wallet on your browser, a ledger nano or importing an ETH address along with its private key.
Important upcoming dates:
November 1 — The end of rewards for running Madbyte nodes. Expect to see all references to MBYT in the Madcapx member panel phased out during the month.
November 15 — The beginning of swap (at 1:1 ratio) from MBYT coin to MADX token at https://madcapx.com/swap. You will have the option to have tokens sent to your Madcapx account or to your wallet account address.
December 1st — Rewards will now be given out as MADX going forward and no more rewards for MBYT holdings (only for MADX holdings).
December 31st — Swapping at madcapx.com/swap ends.
In regard to our reward system, all MADX will be sent to your Madcapx account and you will be able to request a withdrawal if you wish. Note that withdrawal requests of MADX from your account may be subject to a few days wait as the processing will be done manually.
